About Victor Logos
So who is the man who’s going to give you advice for your 20s? Victor Logos is a successful entrepreneur, an avid traveler, and a very experienced software developer. He started his career in 2013 when he started working as a full-stack developer in Moldova. Although he was just a student at the time, he managed to find enough time to begin his professional journey.
Soon he realized that it wasn’t enough and decided to resort to measures some would call drastic. He packed his things and moved to Cambodia in search of greener pastures. And that’s when the real work started.
Throughout the next few years, he got involved with multiple big-scale projects. He co-founded an agency called Smart Management Systems, created the first online grocery shopping startup in Cambodia, and co-founded another company called Genezix back in Moldova. By 2020 Genezix got integrated into one big international Mediapark company, Victor joined as a business development manager then about one year later got promoted to associate partner position. To top it off, he has visited 3 countries in 2022 in his free time and he has 5 other planned. This list steadily grew and he now has more than 20 destinations crossed out over the years. And he’s not planning to stop there.
As you can see, it has been a busy 7 years. And the results are very impressive. Here is what Victor Logos has to say about his adventures.
Travel is a must for personal growth
Victor: Travel is an absolute must for personal growth. Exploring new cultures gives you a unique experience. The emotions you will live through are one-of-a-kind. You absolutely have to seize the moment while you are still in your 20s to see the world. The more you delay - the fewer opportunities you will get to do so. At some point, you might find yourself absolutely unable or unwilling to grab your travel backpack and set off into the sunset. And if you haven’t seen anything by that time - it’s going to be a tragic day.
“Travel is an absolute must for personal growth.”
Victor has spent countless days adventuring. On foot, on a bike, alone, and with a group of friends. You don’t need a lot of money or a luxurious car to be able to enjoy traveling. It’s about the journey, not the destination.
Be committed to succeed, stay focused
Victor: Commitment is one of the most important aspects of success. Once you set out on your career path and realize it’s your cup of tea - you need to acknowledge that you are here for the long run. Success doesn’t come overnight. You have to adopt a growth mindset at work and work on your ability to rebound.
You’ve probably heard that failure is a learning experience. This might sound cliche but it’s very true. Don’t let setbacks discourage you from pursuing your goals. Take some time off if you need it, cool your head, and get right back to work. You have to remember that no one is perfect. Everyone can fail. Don’t get too stressed about it.
Cover letters are crucial for landing a dream job that is why almost half of the job seekers (47%) write them. A lot of employers decline applications without them. To figure out how to write the best version of a cover letter, you should click for more info here.
Master Your Skills
Victor: Self-improvement is one of the best tools that will help you grow professionally. Make a list of top skills that can be applied in your field. Dedicate some time each day to learning something new or getting better at what you already know. Polishing and showcasing your soft and hard skills will help you get the attention of your employer and get the promotion you desire.
This can help you not only with vertical growth but also with a horizontal one. Applying your top resume skills will allow you to create a strong CV and LinkedIn profile. Throw in a couple of recommendations and you are guaranteed to get an interview with the recruiter at any firm you want. And if you have all it takes except for LinkedIn management skills, you can always make use of a professional resume writing service that will create an engaging profile just for you.
Take risks
Victor: A stable day job is cool, but what about trying your own business? Never be afraid to start a side hustle if you believe in your idea. Work on your concept, run it by your friends, create a product, fail, and try again.
“Never be afraid to start a side hustle if you believe in your idea.”
To take risks is one of the best pieces of advice for your 20s ever. It’s unlikely you’ve built something that you are content with by this age. And falling into a routine with your average work day can seriously stall your career growth.
Get out of your comfort zone. Try new things. Fail and try again. If there was ever a time to take your shot - it’s now. You won’t regret it.
Network, then network some more
Victor: I can’t even begin to tell you how important networking is. Here’s a piece of advice for your 20s: knowing the right people will help you a lot. It doesn’t matter at which point in your career you are. They could be potential employers, partners, consultants, customers, or even bosses. In my opinion, it’s much better to be well-connected and temporarily unemployed than to have a job without a network.
So even if you are not very keen on meeting new people at work - get out there and start making connections. They don’t have to be meaningful. Simply getting on someone’s radar is enough for you to be able to reach out to them later down the line.

Diversify
Victor: You might have heard that the most valuable people today are highly specialized professionals. That might be true. But at the beginning of your career, you don’t want to commit to a job you are not sure you are interested in. There are a lot of examples of people wasting too much time at the beginning of their professional path. Try out as many things as you can at work.
This piece of advice for your 20s will help you quickly find your niche. It will also grant you a certain amount of flexibility in case you ever want to switch lanes. Diversify your work experience. And once you’ve found the job for yourself - go for it.
